Mobile Phones Are Dirtier than You Think

It is actually so obvious, but it would probably take a study conducted by students of Stanford University to convince people to wash their hands after handling their mobile phones. According to the research, which was published last July, our phones is 18 times dirtier than a toilet handle. This means that anyone who touches your phone could get infected by germs.

Any virus that finds itself on a surface, such as a phone’s touchscreen display, would have 30 percent of itself transferred to a single fingertip during normal usage. From the fingers, germs would spread to the eyes, mouth, or nose, which could lead to infection.

This piece of news could probably inspire some companies to come up with a silicone case to be called an iPhone germ killer or something.
