Microsoft Surface 3

Microsoft Surface 3Having a portable device handy has become quite common for many people today. If it is not a smartphone, people always have a tablet handy. Tablets have become quite popular in a relatively short time. Many people now use it for a variety of tasks. And as people try to see what is in store for the upcoming tablets in the market, manufacturers are also trying hard to get their attention by adding in more features. Microsoft for one is trying to capture a segment of the tablet market by coming up with the Microsoft Surface 3.

The Microsoft Surface 3 is already the third version of the software giant’s initial entry into the tablet market. It has not really captured the attention of the consumers with its previous two models. Now, it is trying to make it more interesting by making the Surface 3 more affordable than the previous two tablet models.

The Microsoft Surface 3 comes with a 10.8-inch Full HD Plus multi-point touchscreen display. It runs on a Quad Core Intel Atom X7 processor. It runs using the Microsoft 8.1 OS. It comes in two models, one with 2GB RAM and 64GB storage and another with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with an 8.0MP rear-facing camera and a 3.5MP front-facing camera. It also comes with a handful of sensors that are now standard with most tablets today.

The Microsoft Surface 3 also comes with up to 10 hours of battery life for video playback. Users no longer need to worry about running short on power when using this tablet for the whole part of the day. It is also quite convenient to use since it supports the use of popular Windows Office Suite along with other popular productivity software. The Microsoft Surface 3 is currently available for pre-order starting at $499. The 4GB RAM, 128 storage version goes for $599. It is expected to be available in the first week of May.
