Mac users, especially those who are into downloading “stuff” through BitTorrent sites, were thrilled to learn that a beta version of Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac has been leaked.
Boy Genius Report got the skinny on the leaked beta and has posted a hands-on review, even though there is no official word whether the software was actually the real deal or made by some jobless developer who had a lot of time in their hands. According to the report, each application has a completely overhauled user interface, drawing from both Office 2007 and 2010 for Windows instead of the 2008 Mac version. You can check out more about the review at the source link.
If you want to get a hold of that leaked Office 2011 for Mac, you better start searching for “beta 2” version.
The Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac has no official release date, while its Windows equivalent, the Office 2010, is now available to MSDN and TechNet subscribers for now.
