Making a Harlem Shake Video? There’s an App for That!

Make your own Harlem Shake video.

The Harlem Shake meme has been sweeping the world quicker than Gangnam Style. And like that viral hit of last year, expect developers to come up with apps about performing random movements just as the bass drops on Baauer’s surprise #1 hit.

A Russian app maker named Kirill Ivashchenko has released an Android app that makes it easier to make your Harlem Shake videos. The Harlem Shake Video Creator provides step-by-step instructions on how to create your own Harlem Shake clips. It also comes with built-in music track that defines the meme.

Once you have completed your video, you can upload your masterpiece directly to YouTube.

There are two versions of the app: the Lite version is free to download and contains some advertisements; while the Pro version costs just $1, comes ad-free, and has the ability to save your finished videos to your phone’s library.

But just so you know, the meme is totally different from the actual Harlem Shake dance.
