LG has officially unveiled its flagship smartphone for 2014. The LG G3 features a 5.5-inch quad-HD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, Snapdragon 801 processor, up to 3GB of RAM, up to 32GB of storage, and a 13-megapizel OIS+ (Optical Image Stabilizer Plus) rear-facing camera.
The G3’s camera sports a revolutionary Laser Auto Focus that shoots sharp images in the fraction of the time when performed by other smartphone cameras. Its polished metallic rear cover is lightweight and finger-resistant.
A successor of the very successful G2, the G3 also comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, a microSD slot of up to 128GB, and a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone sports a variety of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB 2.0.
The LG G3 will be available Wednesday, May 28, in South Korea before it will rolls out to other countries including the United States on all major carriers. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, Gold, Violet, and Red.
