LG introduces the Chromebase all-in-one desktop PC. This 21.5-inch Chrome OS-based device aims to provide a simple, cheap, and hassle-free alternative to Windows and Apple desktop computers, much like what the Chromebook achieved for laptops.
The LG Chromebase features an Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of memory, 16GB of SSD storage, and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. This gadget also boasts of a HDMI port, three USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, and LAN. It can be used as an extra monitor and comes with a keyboard-mouse combo.
The South Korean company will be giving the general public an opportunity to take a closer look at the LG Chromebase come CES on January 7. Let’s hope LG would dish out details about the price and availability at that time as well.
