Smartphones today do not seem to look any different when you consider their overall design. You have a choice different screen sizes but all comes with the same general shape- a flat and rectangular device. You can have a choice from sharp or curved edges as well as thin or thick profile for your smartphone. While many smartphone makers do not deviate a lot from the typical design for the device, you can hand it to LG for coming up with something unique in the LG G Flex 2 smartphone.
The new LG G Flex 2 is the second model of LG’s unique G Flex smartphone line. What makes it unique is the phone’s curved profile. The bold contours of the LG G Flex 2 surely make it stand out since it is the only smartphone to follow this feature. LG says that this makes the phone more convenient to use for calls since the curves make the mic get closer to your mouth. The curved profile also minimizes the glare and reflection that are more prone for flat displays. The curved form also makes it easier to handle and operate.
The new LG G Flex 2 smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch curved OLED Full HD display, a bit smaller than its predecessor’s 6-inch display. The smartphone also comes with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 8-core processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. This curved smartphone also comes with a3GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. There is also a microSD slot for additional storage if needed. The LG G Flex 2 also comes with a 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front facing camera. The smartphone also comes with a 3000 mAh built-in battery, which unfortunately is not user replaceable. The LG G Flex 2 Smartphone is set to be available sometime this year, with most US carriers announcing plans to carry the new smartphone into their line-up. Pricing for this unique smartphone is currently unavailable though.
