The new Lenovo Smart Display features the Google Assistant, the powerful AI assistant similar to Amazon’s Echo. The smart display is actually a voice-activated computer that can provide users with supplementary information whenever they need it. Using voice commands, the Lenovo Smart Display can provide information about eateries nearby if the user wants to know about good restaurants.
The Lenovo Smart Display features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 624 processor. It also features up to 2GB of RAM and up to 4GB eMMC flash storage. It also comes with a 5MP wide angle view front camera and an 8-inch HD IPS touchscreen display. The Lenovo Smart Display also features 1.75” 10-watt full range speaker with a dual-passive radiator and dual-array microphones. This device makes use of Google Assistant to access information as well as make the home smarter by controlling all the other smart devices connected to it, all with just a person’s voice. It is an ideal device that smart homes today can use. The 8-inch Lenovo Smart Display is expected to cost around $200 when it comes out this summer. The 10-inch version is expected to cost around $250.
