Kodak PLAYTOUCH Video Camera

Kodak is recently trying to make itself a company not just known for photo prints. It has started developing its own line of digital devices in recent years. The latest of these devices is the new Kodak PLAYTOUCH Video Camera.

The Kodak PLAYTOUCH Video Camera may look anything but the typical video camera you see today. Its design may be more similar to a mobile phone than a digital video camera. It has features that may be quite interesting for a portable video camera its size.

The Kodak PLAYTOUCH Video Camera features a 3.0″ capacitive touchscreen LCD optimized for reviewing captured images in high quality as well as playing back videos in 1080p HD mode. It comes with a 128 MB internal memory and a SD/SDHC memory expansion slot that can support up to 32GB. It also has its own speaker as well as a Li-ion rechargeable battery. The Kodak PLAYTOUCH Video Camera is available for pre-order at Kodak for US$230. It is set to be made available around September.
