Kno Textbook Tablet Comes in Single and Dual Screens

Oh look! Another tablet is gearing for world domination. This time, the Kno tags itself as a “textbook tablet” because not only it is almost twice as large as an iPad (about the size of a textbook), it also comes with a dual-screen version that opens up like a book.

The Kno features color touch screens, built-in browser and learning apps. It also functions as an e-book reader that is smaller than the Amazon Kindle and sells textbook titles that are 30 to 50 percent cheaper than its print versions.

The Kno textbook tablet is taking limited pre-orders for shipping before the end of the year. The single-screen model costs US$599, while the dual-screen version is priced at $899.
