After months of releasing the Kindle software for Windows, it is now Mac users’ turn to enjoy the ease of reading digital books. The Kindle for Mac is now available for download, providing “the best reading experience available” on the Mac even without a Kindle.
Like the Windows version, the Kindle for Mac lets users to access their Kindle books even without the e-book reader. It also automatically syncs the last page read and annotations between the two devices, as well as creates bookmarks and displays the annotations created on the Kindle.
There is a catch, however. The Kindle for Mac requires a computer with an Intel chipset and runs on OS 10.5 or higher.
