Amazon.com, Inc. just announced that their beloved Kindle ebook reader can now be accessed using your iPhone or iPod Touch. The Kindle for iPhone App features Amazon’s exclusive Whispersync technology that saves and synchronizes your bookmarks across all Kindle-related devices and cross-platform applications. You can read your ebooks saved on your Kindle using a compatible device like an iPhone and, in the coming months, BlackBerry and Mac.
With the Kindle for iPhone, you can also preview, purchase, and download thousands of book titles from novels, cookbooks, children’s books, travel books, and graphic novels in full color available in the Kindle Store; choose the font size and words per line according to your liking; add and view notes as well as highlights marked on Kindle and Kindle DX.
The Kindle for iPhone is available for free from the Apple App Store in more than 60 countries.
