Even before it was acquired by HP, Palm mobile devices may have promise but always come short. This time, however, it may deliver. That is, if the rumors about an upcoming HP device are true.
PreCentral has leaked an image of a keyboard-less HP computer, probably a combination of HP’s hardware expertise and Palm’s under-appreciated software. According to the original source, the device is “like an EVO with webOS.”
Several code names referring to the leaked device have been thrown around, such as “Mansion,” “Stingray,” and “Windsor.” MobileCrunch, however, guesstimates it could Stingray since the Pre 3 was codenamed “Mantaray.”
