JVC hasn’t been making that big of a splash when it comes to the usual electronics devices. But it continues to stand on its own when it comes to its other niches. Probably one of their newer devices come in the form of the JVC RD-R2 Audio Recorder.
An audio recorder is not something that every electronics manufacturer would likely get into. But JVC continues to develop products for such a market with its new RD-R2 Audio Recorder. This device features a boombox design that can actually do more. It has a powerful pair of mics built-in designed to record street performances. The RD-R2 records audio in MP3 or WAV formats and can playback both as well as AAC audio formats. Not only that, the RD-R2 also comes with a guitar and mic input as well as a KORG connector for added recording versatility. The JVC RD-R2 Audio Recorder is expected to be available in the Japanese market by February. It is expected to cost around 37,800 Japanese Yen or around US$460.
