Apple surprised everyone when it recently unveiled the iPod Shuffle 2009. Measuring 1.8" tall and 0.3" thin and weighing only 0.38 ounce, this latest music player is the smallest of its kind in the world. What’s more, this 2009 version of the iPod shuffle talks to you! Very cool, huh?

With a 4GB memory space that can store up to 1000 songs, the ultralightweight and ultraportable iPod Shuffle 2009 has a rock star design. The smooth, tough, anodized aluminum case, which is available in black or silver finish, makes this music player a wardrobe essential. The clip forged in stainless steel is another attraction. You can also have the device engraved for a more personalized feel. The iPod Shuffle 2009 is controlled via controls on the right earbud cord that comes with the device.

What is most remarkable about the iPod Shuffle 2009 is the feature called VoiceOver. Just press the button and VoiceOver will tell you the title of the song and its artist. It even announces your playlist aloud for song navigation. The addition of this feature adds a level of song navigation that is previously missing from the earlier generation of iPod shuffle.

The iPod Shuffle 2009 supports audio formats like AAC, Protected AAC, MP3, MP3 VBR, Audible, AIFF, Apple Lossless, and WAV. Playback time is up to 10 hours when the battery is fully charged. This amazing device is priced at $79.
