Apple has begun selling online its latest iPad Mini, the one with the Retina screen. This is the second time the company is wedging into the smaller tablet market.

Measuring 7.9 inches diagonally, the new iPad Mini comes with Apple’s high-definition Retina display. An order page for this gadget has appeared on Apple’s website Tuesday morning, the same time as the company released the iPad Air.

“The response to iPad Air has been incredible, and we’re excited for customers to experience the new iPad mini with Retina display,” Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, said in a press release. “We’re working hard to get as many as we can in the hands of our customers.”

The announcement comes after reports surfaced that manufacturing issues may not keep up with iPad Mini orders, particularly the lack of enough Retina displays for the small tablet. Apart from the high-definition screen, the new iPad Mini sports a 64-bit A7 processor that makes this tablet more power-efficient and faster.

The iPad Mini with Retina display is available online, starting at $399 for the basic WiFi-only version to as much as $829 for a model that packs cellular connectivity and 128 GB of storage. Customers can choose between silver and space gray colors, as well as choosing between having Apple ship your new tablet or pick it up at a nearby Apple Store.

Meanwhile, major wireless carriers like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, are also selling this new tablets in their respective rooms..
