Tablets today have really changed the landscape of portable devices. It becomes the popular choice as a media device since it provides a larger screen and yet is still portable enough to bring along just about anywhere. Not only that, it now comes with features that integrate functions of other devices such as smartphones and laptops. And because of its function as an in-between device, it certainly has established itself as a legitimate device market after lingering in the niche sector for years. Not that is has become a major device market, device makers are clamoring for attention to get their tablets exposure among many consumers. Chinese communications solutions provider Huawei is also in on the game. It recently launched its new Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue tablet in the market.
The new Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue features a tablet with a 1.2GHz quad core processor and a 16-core GPU for fluid 3D gaming and 1080p Full HD video playback. It also comes with a 7-inch touch screen display and an aluminum unibody. Aside from its capable entertainment features, users can also use the MediaPad 7 Vogue as a mobile phone with a built-in 3G receiver that supports DC-HSPA+. It also comes with a Wi-Fi connection that supports 802.11b/g/n for faster video streaming. The Huawei MediaPad 7 also comes with a 4100mAh Li-Polymer battery with power saving features that allows for up to playback of four HD movies or up to 20 hours of call time. The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue will initially be available in the Chinese market, with global availability to follow.
