HTC comes up with not just one, but two new smartphones to be included in its Desire lineup. The HTC Desire HD features a 4.30-inch LCD, 1GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor, Android OS, enhanced HTC Sense, 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and 720p video recording capability, Dolby Mobile, and HSPA+ with WiFi.
Meanwhile, the HTC Desire Z (pictured) has a sliding (or what they prefer to call, “pop-out”) QWERTY keyboard with user-assigned keys and shortcuts to launch apps quicker. Features include a 5-megapixel camera with flash and HD video recording capabilities, an 800MHz qualcomm MSM7230 processor, enhanced HTC Sense, and HSPA+ with WiFi.
Both HTC smartphones are expected to become available in major European and Asian markets in October. North American HTC fans, however, may have to wait for a few months. Pricing for both phones is still a mystery.
