HTC EVO 4G Available on Sprint

The US will get a first taste of 4G technology right at the palm of their hands with the HTC EVO 4G, which is now available across the country through Sprint. This handset runs on Android 2.1 and features a 4.3-inch display, with two-way voice and video chat, and a built-in mobile WiFi hotspot. It also has two cameras: an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus with HD-capable video camcorder at the back and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chats.

Other unique features include Google Goggles image search, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a customized web browser, and Adobe Flash support.

The HTC EVO 4G phone is sold on Sprint’s retail locations, costing US$199.99 with a two-year service agreement and a $100 mail-in rebate. Note that each customer can only buy up to 5 units, so do not try to be too greedy.
