HP TouchSmart tx2 Notebook PC

touchsmart tx2

Hewlett Packard has started a revolution of some sorts in the world of notebooks with its release of the first ever convertible notebook PC that features multi-touch technology. Known as HP TouchSmart tx2, this device uses the same technology employed in HP’s TouchSmart desktop PCs. The notebook is specifically designed for people who are always on the go and want digital contents at their fingertips.

The TouchSmart tx2 allows you to select, manage, and organize your web content, digital photos, videos, and music in the easiest and most convenient way – by touching the screen. Gestures such as rotate, pinch, flick, arc, single and double tap, and press and drag make the capacitive multi-touch technology work. This gives you the desired result. The device also features a digital ink pen (rechargeable) for writing, drawing, and sketching on the screen. It automatically converts your handwriting into text.

You can also watch Internet TV or films in high-definition. Also, HP has partnered with MTV to give you video content from 10 TV channels as well as online brands through MediaSmart’s TV module. TouchSmart tx2’s technical specifications include 12.1-inch diagonal HP BrightView LED display (1280 x 800), panel that folds flat and rotates 180 degrees, Windows Vista Home Premium, and AMD Turion X2 dual-core mobile processor. You can purchase this notebook at HP for $1,149.99.
