Hoverboards have become quite popular not only as a toy but also as a trendy means of portable transport. But using them requires a good sense of balance and control. Unfortunately, people with poor balance and a hoverboard is a toxic combination. But there are options available that will allow such people to enjoy a hoverboard ride without risking safety. One of them is the unique HoverSeat.
What Is It?
The HoverSeat is a simple yet unique option to use when riding a hoverboard. It is designed as a wheeled attachment to a 10″ and 6″ models of hoverboards with a round middle. When attached together, the HoverSeat creates a safer means of getting on board a hoverboard. It transforms it into a four-wheeler. Any compatible-sized chair can be strapped to the HoverSeat platform. This makes it easy for the hoverboard rider to sit on. Riders can then move around either using their feet. An additional chair handle attachment to navigate the hoverboard using their hands is also available. People can then think up of different and creative ways to use it- as a personal seated transport, a fun ride for kids or even as a portable hauler of that ice bucket when going to the beach.
The HoverSeat is currently undergoing a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. Those interested can get a basic HoverChair for the early bird price of $79. A HoverSeat equipped with an aluminum chair costs $125 while one with attached chair handles goes for $165. The first batch of HoverSeats is expected to be available sometime in September of this year, that is, if it succeeds its campaign on Kickstarter.
