We have heard about smart air conditioners, but what about that air purifier that keeps your home pollen-free? Honeywell has unveiled its home gadget that can be connected to smartphones. This smart, Bluetooth air purifier lets homeowners use their iOS or Android phones to operate the device as they enter the room, control the cleaning levels, set how long before it turns itself off, and monitor when to replace the HEPA filter. The phone also gathers information from the Web about pollen and mold alerts, so you could remotely adjust the fan levels accordingly.
The Honeywell HPA250B Bluetooth air purifier can clean the air of rooms up to 310 square feet and is now available on Best Buy for $269.99.
