Oh we kid you not! The Japanese branch of Agip has come up with a Hello Kitty 5W-30 synthetic engine oil for compact cars. We are very sure that it is meant to add a boost of cuteness to your car.
Sounds like a very crazy idea at first, but if you think about it, grown-up Hello Kitty collectors have horded anything related to that cute cat, from audio players to appliances to computers. It won’t be too long before they get their hands on a bunch of unusual items bearing Hello Kitty like stepladders, circuit breakers, and probably even cement.
The Agip Hello Kitty 5W-30 engine oil (PDF link) is available only in Japan, costing 2980 yen (about US$33).
