Action cameras have become a constant companion of many avid outdoor adventurers nowadays. Its ability to capture high quality videos and images in rugged and action-packed situations make them an invaluable tool for recording memories and action sequences. GoPro has become the pioneer and leader in the action camera market. The company has introduced its lightest and most convenient action camera yet in the form of the new GoPro HERO4 Session action camera.
The GoPro HERO4 Session action camera may be considered as the smallest and lightest GoPro camera yet. This new action camera is 50 percent smaller and 40 percent lighter than the popular GoPro HERO4 Black and Silver action cameras. Despite its smaller form profile, the new GoPro HERO4 Session comes with several convenient features.
The new GoPro HERO4 Session action camera can capture video in 1080p60, 720p100, and 1440p30. It is waterproof for up to 10 meters or 33 feet without the need for a separate housing. One-button control allows for a more convenient and easier camera use. A short press will power the video camera on while a long press of the button will enable the camera to capture time-lapse photos. The GoPro HERO4 Session captures 8MP stills in single, burst or time lapse mode.
The GoPro HERO4 Session action camera also comes with a Dual Mic system to capture enhanced audio in a variety of action scenes and settings. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity allows easy access to extended settings via Smart Remote and transfer of the action footages and photos via the GoPro App. The new GoPro HERO4 Session action camera will be available through authorized retailers on July 12 for around $400.
