Google Earth Now Features Weather Data

Google has updated its Google Earth application with weather data, but only in certain parts of North America and Europe for now.

Although it looks like it, representatives of Google blogged that this latest feature should not be viewed as a replacement for The Weather Channel or other meteorological websites. It is, as they claim, is an extension of the Google Earth experience. So instead of just looking at landforms and seascapes, you can also see what it looks like if there is a hurricane in the area, for instance.

Try updating your Google Earth if you feel like it. It looks interesting if you ask us.
