Dave Girouard of Google Enterprise posted an entry on Google‘s official blog that hints about the company’s dealing with the compatibility problems of Google Docs to iPad and Android.
The entry states, “Today we demonstrated new mobile editing capabilities for Google Docs on the Android platform and the iPad. In the next few weeks, co-workers around the world will soon be able to co-edit files simultaneously from an even wider array of devices.”
This comes as a good news for iPad users, who continue to suffer from a crippled Pages (on some functions at least, such as font and image issues). Making Google Docs available on a wide range of devices, whether iPad or Android device, make it a more convenient for users of both gadgets. It also makes file management on the cloud close to reality.
