GNARBOX, Your Portable HD Content Manager

GNARBOXPeople nowadays are keen on trying to capture every event of their daily lives. Thanks to the availability of portable digital action cameras and even smart phones, it is easier for people to capture any event with just a click of a button. But while video or image capture has become quite convenient, managing all the content still seems to be just as tedious as they were in the past. People need to transfer videos and photos into a laptop or computer in order to edit, manage or share them with other people. This is where GNARBOX comes in.

GNARBOX is a unique and interesting portable device that will let you manage your HD video footage and photos in a more convenient manner. The usual task of transferring HD video and photos from the camera to a computer or laptop can be very time consuming. People always on the go usually do not have the time to do so. GNARBOX helps streamline the task by eliminating the need to transfer videos and photos to another device for editing or sharing. GNARBOX allows people to access their HD videos and photos without the need for time-consuming transfers. Users can simply upload or connect a storage device of up to 128 GB of their HD videos and photos into the GNARBOX in a more convenient way.

Not only that, GNARBOX can also act as a portable WiFi hotspot that will allow up to 4 devices to connect and access videos and photos using the companion GNARBOX app. These features allow the GNARBOX to be a more convenient solution for managing media content on the go. This is made possible by the powerful specs that make up the GNARBOX. Inside, there is a 2.2 GHz Quad Core CPU along with an 8 Core 3D GPU. GNARBOX also comes with a 4GB DDR3 RAM and 128 GB worth of flash storage. The device comes with 2 USB 3 ports as well as an SD and micro SD slot. Its rechargeable batteries provide from 6 to 8 hours of continuous power. GNARBOX is also waterproof for up to 1 meter as well as dust and sand proof, making it ideal for use even in rugged conditions. Users can connect wirelessly to the GNARBOX up to 100 feet away with its multi-mode 300 mbps WiFi.

When editing videos and photos from a smart phone or other connected device, the GNARBOX takes the heavy processing load using its built-in CPU and GPU, making you work seamlessly with your portable device. This device is designed to encode and decode signals and stream up to 4K video to your smart phone. The GNARBOX is currently undergoing a crowd funding campaign at Kickstarter. Interested parties can pledge around $150 to $200 to get an early version of the GNARBOX. Once it becomes available in the market, it is expected to retail at around $250. The first batch of devices is expected to ship sometime in March of next year.
