How about a device that doubles up as a netbook and a tablet? Gigabyte has recently unveiled the T1000p netbook convertible tablet PC. It features both the convenience of a netbook along with the increasingly popular features of a tablet PC.
The Gigabyte T1000p features a netbook with a dynamic swiveling 10.1″ multi-touch screen that can be turned from back to front to convert it into a workable tablet PC. Convenience is not compromised by its size since it features a full-sized keyboard, quite a welcome feature for netbooks. The Gigabyte T1000p runs on the Intel Atom 1.83GHz N470 processor, and features a 250 or 350 2.5″ SATA HDD, 1.5 watt internal speakers, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 3.5G high speed mobile broadband and WiFi access support . The Gigabyte T1000p is currently available for pre-orders for shipment on July. You can get it at Amazon for US$699.
