Not everybody wants a smartwatch, as some people like runners would prefer a simple wristwatch is GPS capability to keep track of their activities. Garmin has just released its two new running watches, namely the Garmin Forerunner 220 and 620.

Both watches have similar basic functionalities. Apart from the fact they can tell time, the two wristwatches pack a 1-inch color display, an accelerometer to track motion, Bluetooth 4.0, low-energy support for smartphone syncing, and alerts in case your pace has become shaky.

The Garmin Forerunner 620 takes it a bit further with its Recovery Advisor, giving runners a rough estimate on how much rest they need to take before taking on the next run around the city. It also has WiFi syncing, just in case they do not bring their smartphones along, as well as the ability estimate the maximum amount of oxygen their bodies need while in motion.

The Garmin Forerunner 220 would cost you $249, while the Forerunner 620 is priced at $399.
