Floating Record Vertical Turntable

Floating Record Vertical TurntableThere was a time when people listen to music the analog way. This means using a vinyl record or a cassette tape physically ingrained with microscopic grooves. When a tiny pin of the analog player goes through each groove, it creates miniscule vibrations that an amplifier then turns into sound. Essentially that is how analog tapes work. Some people still wax nostalgic trying to listen to vinyl records. It sends them to a time when the gritty sound of analog was considered perfect. People can still revisit that period time and again, but this time using this unique Floating Record Vertical Turntable from Gramovox.

The Floating Record Vertical Turntable is a unique take on the vintage vinyl record turntable most people know. Instead of having the vinyl record lie flat horizontally, the Floating Record Vertical Turntable play them while spinning on a vertical base, giving the illusion that the vinyl record is floating as it spins. It is a unique take on a vintage design to give people a different look on how people used to listen to music in the analog age.

The Floating Record Vertical Turntable will let you play your vinyl record collection with a little twist. The player already comes with a built-in amplifier, a pair of 2″ Full Range Stereo Speakers, the volume knob and a belt drive system that can be adjusted to 33 1/3 or 45 rpm. The rear control panel comes with the power supply, a headphone and line out jacks in case users require additional pre-amps or speakers to enjoy their music. The Floating Record Vertical Turntable is currently on a crowdfunding campaign at Kickstarter. A pledge of $349 will get you a choice between a maple- or walnut-veneered base model. They are expected to ship sometime in December of this year.
