The popular web browser Firefox will soon come to the iPhone, which will be renamed as Firefox Home. The app will let users sync up with their desktop client, keeping the mobile browser updated with their browsing history and bookmarks.
Firefox Home will also include an “Awesome Bar,” which lets users search through everything and let the program predict the options based on the available data. Note that this app is not the “full” version of the Firefox browser, which Mozilla adds “either technically or due to policy,” but the web page still loads from the app itself. Check out the demo featuring an unbranded version to give you an idea how Firefox Home works.
There is no final date when this will be released, but we will keep you updated.
