Turn your palm into an invisible remote control using this wearable gadget. Fin thumb ring can control up to three devices like smartphones, car radios, and smart TV sets using just swipes and taps. It communicates with various devices via Bluetooth.

The Fin thumb ring has five pre-programmed gestures. The creators hope its final version would enable users to create custom gestures using the app that comes with Fin.

Rohildev Nattukallingal, founder of RHL Vision Technologies, tells Mashable about the logic behind the development of Fin. “People in today’s world are becoming more busy, but still they are wasting a lot of time interacting with their smart devices. Fin removes this interaction gap by allowing users to quickly interact with those devices.”

This wearable gadget can control the TV volume, even lets you send text messages or make calls without touching your smartphone. Nattukallingal also hopes this natural interaction can help visually impaired consumers.

The Fin thumb ring can last for up to a month in a single charge while in power-saving mode. After its Indiegogo flexible campaign, the device will retail for $120 with an expected shipping in September 2014. As of this writing, Fin reaches over $16,000 of its $100,000 goal with 20 days remaining.
