Recently, the Facebook app on the iPhone was updated to include Facebook Places, a location-based service that tags your friends and inform all the people in your friends list where you and your tagged buddies went. There lies the problem, because your friends can be tagged even without their permission. This means that people in your list would have found out about your getaway with your tagged buddies and feel left out, or could even reveal that your tagged friend was not really feeling sick. It could also create unnecessary tagging, such as having to tag a friend that you supposedly brought to a strip club when it is not true at all. The possibilities are endless.
We hope this problem with Facebook Places would be corrected in the soonest possible time. That is, if Facebook finds that a problem at all.
