Evernote Food Adds Recipe Search in Update

Evernote Food, a spin-off to the popular Evernote note-taking app, has been around for months now. It aims to help users remember the food and restaurants they love to chow down, as well as discover new cuisine.

Last Monday, Evernote Food released its version 2.0 update, which includes the ability for users to explore recipes from well-known food websites. If users find a recipe they like, they can save them in a “My Cookbook” section, which can be browsed for later use.

Apart from the update Evernote Food features a “Restaurants” section that displays geolocation-specific lists of restos located within a short distance of the user. There is also an option to create a new list of restaurants to try out, as well as a list of places the user has already visited that can be used for future reference.

For the #foodporn fanatics, the app comes with a “My Meals” section that lets users take photos of their food and browse all of their previous plates.

Evernote Food is available on both iOS (both the iPhone and iPad) and Android. The newest update, which was first available on the Apple App Store, just landed on the Google Play Store.
