Finally, the Asus Eee Keyboard is now out in the open, after a few tweaks in the design though. The stylus is a goner, while the 5-inch touchscreen control is now capacitive instead of resistive.
It still retained many likeable specs: Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB SSD, Windows XP Home, WiFi, Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI out, UWB receiver for wireless playback of video and audio content, and 3 USB 2.0 ports.
The issue, however, is the price. At US$599, we think a lot of people would pass on this one. If you’re still interested, the Asus Eee Keyboard is available for pre-order on Amazon.
