DirecTV Introduces New 3D Channel

DirecTV and Panasonic team up and unveil n3D, which shows programs in 3D quality 24-hours a day. The network, which is found on channel 103, works properly if you have a 3DTV, a H21 or higher satellite receiver, and some 3D glasses.

Viewers can get to watch a bunch of special events like the NASCAR Coke Zero 400, the Yankees-Mariners series, and Major League Baseball All-Star Game, all in 3D spectacle. Other special programs include Guitar Center Sessions, as well as a bunch of wildlife documentaries.

The n3D is the first of a series of 3D networks being launched by DirecTV and Panasonic. Stay tuned for the launch of DIRECTV Cinema in 3D on channel 104, and n3D On Demand on channel 105. These 3D channels come in addition to ESPN 3D, which premiered on June 11.
