Dell formally introduced through a pop-up event in New York City its latest tablets, while resurrecting a product line in the process. The Dell Venue used to be reserved for one of its smartphones and now it is being revived as a new line of three tablets: Venue 7, Venue 8, and Venue 8 Pro.

All the new tablets run on Windows 8.1 and sport Intel’s quad-core Bay Trail Atom processor. The Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 feature HD IPS display and “impressive” battery life. Meanwhile, the Venue 8 Pro (pictured) comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student edition and has the ability to run all of Microsoft’s pre-Windows 8 apps. The productivity-focused tablet also works with an optional Dell Active Stylus, which goes for $35.

The Dell Venue 7 starts at $150, while the Venue 8 costs at least $180. The Venue 8 Pro, meanwhile, is priced for at least $300, making it one of the lowest-priced 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablets in the market. All tablets are now available in the United States and select markets.

An upcoming addition to the line, the Dell Venue 11 Pro, is slated for release next month.
