Creative Airwave HD Wireless Speaker With NFC

Wireless portable speakers have become quite common nowadays. People now have several options available in the market. And with the competition getting fiercer by the day, only the ones that offer quality sound output as well as unique features come out on top. In terms of new features, the recently introduced Creative Airwave HD portable speaker may do just that and more.

The Creative Airwave HD wireless speaker is designed for people who are always on the move. Its small size allows people to bring it conveniently with them wherever they go. But it comes power packed with a pair of full range drivers that sound louder than speakers twice their size, thanks to a Super Charged Amplifier the speaker comes with. But what may be more interesting about this new portable wireless speaker is that it is NFC enabled.

The Creative Airwave HD comes with Near Field Communication technology that allows pairing with a smartphone with a simple tap. Users may be able to pair the two devices by just tapping their NFC-enabled device with the speaker. There is no more need for a complicated setup.

For devices that are not NFC-enabled, there is also an option for wireless pairing via Bluetooth. And for ordinary portable media devices, the speaker comes with an integrated Aux-in connector available for connecting the speaker directly to the player via wire. The Creative Airwave HD also comes with a built-in microphone to make it also function as a speakerphone. Its lithium ion rechargeable battery is good enough for seven hours of continuous playing time. This new portable wireless speaker is expected to be available sometime in June of this year. It is expected to cost around 150 Euros or around US$195.
