One of the leading manufacturers of CoM (Computer on Module) boards, introduces another addition to their product line – Exeda.
Features
Exeda is an Android/WinMo handset that features high usability and connectivity, both wired and wireless.
Compulab designed Exeda to cater to the corporate industry. It boasts of a 3.5-inch sun-readable VGA touchscreen, a QWERTY (backlit) keypad with a miniscule touchpad that can double as a mouse. Like many of its kind before it, the Exeda can support Windows Mobile 6.1 – and reportedly Android, WinMo 6.1, Windows CE 6 and Angstrom Linux as well – on its 520MHz Marvel processor, and 128MB RAM. The radio set up is also flexible. You can choose from uadband GSM / GPRS, CDMA, and 3G UMTS.
It has 1GB of built-in storage and – the icing on the cake – a 10/100Base-T ethernet port, on top of the WiFi.
Of course, it did not fail to include the usual 2MP camera and MicroSD expandability.
There is still no advise regarding the price of the Exeda. Expect this device to hit stores in March.
