Cherrypal Unveils a Cheap Tablet

Cherrypal, known for coming up with Android-based devices at very low costs from smartphones to netbooks, introduces their very own tablet computer. The CherryPad runs on Android 2.1, an 800MHz Samsung ARM11 processor, a 7-inch display with Android-standard resolution, 256MB of RAM, and between six and eight hours of battery life.

Other features include a USB 2.0 port, headphone jack, a SD card reader, and can even run 3D games. The aluminum-cased tablet weighs just over a pound.

The CherryPad is now available for only US$188. Really cheap.
