Bang & Olufsen, the Denmark-based manufacturer of high-end audio and video products, has launched its latest product, the BeoLab 11 subwoofer. It features a unique acoustic design that allows the BeoLab 11 to be placed on the floor, in a corner, or mounted on a wall.
The company boasts of the BeoLab 11’s powerful bass that can pick up low frequencies as low as 300Hz and below. Its two 6.5-inch drivers face each other in an aluminum shell, while its Acoustic Balance Principle stabilizes the sound further while minimizing vibrations.
The BeoLab 11 will be available in North American showrooms beginning mid-May 2010. Colors that will be initially offered include silver anodized aluminum and painted white. Retail price range from US$1997 to $2574, depending on color and mounting options.
