If we cannot count on Asus in revealing the details about its Padfone X, which was first unveiled during this year’s CES, leave it to the carrier to squeal the juicy bits.

AT&T has posted in its official blog a detailed list of specifications for the smartphone-tablet combo. The handset features a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, a 13-megapixel back camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. Like any other Padfones, this smartphone can be docked and transfer data into its accompany tablet, which sports a 9-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution and a paltry 1-megapixel front camera.

The Android KitKat-powered smartphone sports a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 16GB of internal memory (expandable through microSD slot), and 2GB of RAM. Both devices are powered by its own battery (2300mAh for the handset, 4990mAh for the tablet dock).

The Asus Padfone X will be available to cater AT&T’s LTE-Advanced network and can also be connected to the Internet through WiFi, as well as transfer documents and files through Bluetooth 4.0.

Other than that, we remain in the dark when it comes to pricing and release date.
