The Eee Note, Asus‘ tablet computer, begins its battle with the iPad as the device becomes available in Taiwan this week and very soon in Hong Kong. Those living in Europe, United States, and China would have to wait until first quarter of 2011 for the Eee Note to land on their local store shelves. By that time, however, the tablet computers that are currently available may have been upgraded.
The only thing that would probably have customers grab the Eee Note is its price. At around US$230 per unit, it is safe to say that the Eee Note is worth every dollar because of its relative cheapness compared to other tablets. Whether people would actually line up for an Asus Eee Note, however, remains in question.
