PC manufacturer Lenovo made a surprise announcement on Twitter last Tuesday as the company introduced its latest employee, and it’s no ordinary wage slave.
Lenovo posted a photo of its employee’s ID card together with the caption, “Say hello to our newest employee.” The company refers to actor Ashton Kutcher, who recently portrayed Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in a film detailing his life story. The ID includes Kutcher’s work title: Product Engineer.
The announcement is part of Lenovo’s upcoming #Betterway global livestream Tuesday night. The program supposedly introduces the company’s new suite of innovative products. Kutcher was also at the event, held live from YouTube’s studio in Los Angeles.
Before becoming part of Lenovo, Ashton Kutcher has previously expressed his interest in working in the technology industry. He is also one of the first users of Twitter.
