We know that Steve Job‘s hatred over anything Flash-related will not subside any time now, but we can now relive the joys of viewing Flash-riddled websites on the iPad thanks to the Artefact Group.
Their project, called “Flash In A Pinch,” renders Flash on Artefact’s own servers, which then streams the images to the user’s Safari browser. The touch interaction of these Flash elements can still be used because of a Javascript layer placed on top of the content.
So far, the group has posted videos of their proof that their concept works (on Hulu, for instance), but it still is a bit slow to use. Nevertheless, it is a good start.
