Apple Unveils Thinnest MacBook Yet

Apple MacBookIt is no surprise that the Apple seems to know how to release products that click or catch on with the savvy consumer. They seem to make all the right marketing moves most of the time. This seems to be the case as Apple has recently unveiled a host of new products for many people to spend their money on. One of them is the announcement of the thinnest MacBook yet.

Apple has announced recently that an all-new MacBook is set to arrive in Apple stores come April. The company also unveiled the specs and it is the thinnest and lightest MacBook ever to come out. Everything in this new MacBook oozes thin. The new MacBook will weigh just 2 pounds and measure 13.1mm thin. It will also come with a 12-inch Retina display, the thinnest so far on a MacBook. It will also come with an all-new full sized keyboard that is 34 percent thinner than previous models. Despite this, the keyboard still provides greater precision, responsiveness and accuracy with each key press.

The all-new MacBook is also the first to do away with an internal fan, making the thin profile all the more possible. Two MacBook configurations will be made available- a 1.1 GHz dual core Intel Core M, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD model expected to cost $1,299 and a 1.2GHz, 8GB RAM with 512GB SSD version that will go around $1,599. Both MacBook models will be available in silver, gold and space gray colors. The first ones will start shipping on April 10.
