Apple has been offering special deals on the day after Thanksgiving in some countries. This year’s Apple Black Friday deals include free gift cards together with your purchase of iPads, iPods, and MacBook Pros. Even non-Apple-branded accessories sold in the Apple Store, such as the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0, come with gift cards of assorted values just for today.
However, not all Apple products are included in its Black Friday offerings. For instance, gift cards are included for every iPad model except the recently-launched iPad mini with Retina display. There are also no discounts for all iPhone models. Consumers can use the gift cards to purchase other products in the Apple Store, especially accessories.
The iPad Air includes a gift card ranging from 35 euros (about US$48) to 75 Australian dollars (US$68), equivalent to 10% “savings” on a $499 16GB WiFi-only model. Meanwhile, the iPad 2 comes with gift cards valued between 25 pounds sterling (US$41) to 50 Australian dollars ($45).
These Apple Black Friday deals are only applicable in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Australia. The Apple Store in US is being updated as of this posting, possibly adding some finishing details to its Black Friday deals.
