Altec Lansing provides a good solution with its new inMotion Air speaker system.
The Altec Lansing inMotion Air Wireless Speaker System provides wireless features to a speaker system that does not suffer in terms of sound quality. Typical wireless speaker systems offer sound quality that still leaves much to be desired. The inMotion Air Speaker System utilizes the Apt-X codec technology to produce that robust and CD quality sound not usually found in many wireless speakers. The Altec Lansing inMotion Air can be used with any Bluetooth-enabled device to wirelessly stream music anywhere in the room. When connected to the PC using the included wireless adapter, the inMotion Air speaker can provide audio output within a range of up to 100 yards or 300 feet. The Altec Lansing inMotion Air is set to be available sometime in February of this year. It is expected to cost around US$200.
