Back in October, Acer launched its Haswell-based C720 Chromebook, but with an asking price of $250, consumers are hoping for a more cost-effective alternative.
The PC company did just that, as it unveils the Acer C720-2848 with all the goodies you expect from the C720, but with a lower 2GB of RAM. The 11.6-inch notebook still has its 1.4GHz Intel Celeron processor, 16GB solid-state drive, and the much-bragged-about 8.5 hours of battery life.
This gadget also sports an anti-glare screen with 720p resolution, Intel HD graphics chipset, 128MB graphics card RAM, HDMI port, and WiFi connectvity
The Acer C720-2848 is now available for pre-order at Amazon and Best Buy.
