After coming up with really red laptops and netbooks at luxury prices, Acer and Ferrari unite once more for a brand new product collaboration. Ladies and gentlemen, the first Ferrari mobile phone.
The crimson-red Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition comes with the same specs as Acer’s first Android phone. It runs on Android 2.1 OS, has a 768MHz Snapdragon processor, a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution, WiFi connectivity, GPS, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, all encased in a sleek carbon fiber shell.
But of course, it would not be called the Ferrari Edition for nothing. This phone comes with everything Rossa-related, from the Scuderia logo at the back, a microphone that looks like an “air intake inlet,” as well as a bunch of Ferrari wallpapers, videos, and ringtones.
No release date is announced, though, but we know it will not come cheap.
